In 1924, Dr. Ralph C. Smedley assembled a group committed to improving public speaking. Although, the Toastmasters began with humble beginnings in the basement of a Santa Ana YMCA, today Toastmasters boasts 9,300 clubs in 70 countries and is 200,000 members strong.

We are
Anaheim Club #2, founded in 1926 as a local chapter of Toastmasters International.
Today, Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization which provides the opportunity to develop and improve public speaking abilities through local club meetings, training seminars and speech contests.

Experienced professionals and beginning speakers alike can benefit from our practical, face-to-face learning program. Whether you're speaking to the board of directors, customers or co-workers, Toastmasters can help you do it better. Your skills will be practiced in a friendly, comfortable environment with people who are there for the same reason you areto become better communicators.

At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation.
